"The woman in cabin 10" de Ruth Ware

"The woman in cabin 10" de Ruth Ware
Ed. Harvill Secker (London) 2016. Pages 344.

Résumé: The Nothern Lights. A luxury press launch on a boutique cruise ship. A chance for a travel journalist Lo Blacklock to recover fromna traumatic break-in. Except things don't go as planned.
Woken in the night by screams, Lo rushes to her window to see a body thrown overboard from the next door cabin. But the records show that no one ever checked in to that cabin, and no passengers are missing from the boat. Exhausted, emotional and increasingly desperate, Lo has to face that she may have made a terrible mistake. Or she is trapped on board a boat with a murderer, and she is the sole witness...

Extrait: "I felt the walls of the ballroom closing in on me, the blackness seeming to swallow me whole. Stop panicking, I told myself. No one's hurt you. No one's broken in. Chances are it's just a maid come to turn down the bed, or the door shutting by itself. Stop. Panicking."
